Laughter echoing the chambers of the heart
Mocking the pain that lingers
After the hollowing.
Ice paralyzing the fibers of nerves
As flames smother
And vitality ceases.
Darkness penetrating the iris of the eye
Choking the light of the soul
That once existed.
